Writer, Science UPD8

I enjoy the challenge of writing for UPD8. Whilst I loved science at school I sometimes found it rather dry and difficult to relate to everyday life. UPD8 makes science topical, relevant and fun. I hope I can contribute to making UPD8 a powerful and stimulating teaching tool.

I completed a primary PGCE at the Institute of Education and have taught extensively across Key Stages One and Two. In addition I have taught in hospital and special schools. I am also a professional actress. My theatre credits include the West End and I have worked in television and film. I use drama in UPD8 to give pupils an active learning experience.
