Jackie Clegg has enjoyed teaching science for 23 years. During this time she has taught in High Schools and became Head of Science. She spent two years as a science advisor and later worked for the Science Learning Centre, West Midlands.

Jackie spent 15 years working with the examination board OCR and became Chief Examiner and course work moderator. She recently moved to the Isle of Wight and became Science Co-ordinator in a Middle School.
